WE ARE A COMMUNITY

dance school focussed on nurturing kids experiences so they feel safe, playful, creative and successful.  We don’t want to tell the kids what to wear, who to be or how to dance.  We do want to nurture their experience so they figure out their own style and personality.  

We hope that they share with us and surprise us with who they are before they have learned who they are supposed to be.  We hope to surprise them by teaching them things that they didn’t even know they were learning because they were having so much fun!

WE UNDERSTAND

that when you ‘mimic’ the instructor, you are generally in your mind.  But when you can dance without looking at the instructor, and, confidently add your own style, now you are having a mind/body experience.

We create a safe environment on the dance floor, where people can express themselves without judgement.  This means that people’s dance experience is much deeper and more embodied.

Our Oahu Hawaii Dance Classes are taught by instructors who create the ideal environment for students to be their unique selves with confidence.

WE PRACTICE

not taking things too seriously and remembering that dance is supposed to be fun!  We practice wiggling, being ourselves, laughing, learning names, putting our own style into the dance, and making it feel good in our unique bodies.  Dance+authenticity+ridiculousness= Hawaii Dance Bomb!
